Revelation and Indoctrination

St. Augustine teaches us that we need only look at the behaviour of babies to accept the revelation of Original Sin.  I say that babies are innocent, with no knowledge of Hell until that revelation is forced upon our minds.

If given the opportunity to go back in time and avoid hearing any version of any Christian Gospel, I would leap at the chance.  I would gladly risk the possibility that Hell might exist and await me, in exchange for a life free from imagining eternal horrors awaiting me after death.

I do not doubt that God exists, in some form or other.  But I am convinced that He does not care to heed my calls for help.  My life is ruined; I squandered a lot of opportunities searching for Something that was never there. I have no idea how to revive anything.  All I see is loss, misery and suffering in the future.

A cautionary tale on how not to spend your life.  That's all I'm good for.
